Kevin Sidey's 1985 Monte Carlo SS
This white '85 Monte Carlo SS belongs to Kevin Sidey who resides in Ontario,
Canada. Kevin has done alot of work to his Monte since he's taken
ownership of the car. Probably one of the most noticeable mods Kevin has
made to his Monte is the Shaker style hood he's installed on his SS.
Kevin's painstaking work on the hood is evident as the Shaker scoop looks like
it came from the factory.
A Goodwrench 350 Crate Engine has also found a new home between the fenders
of Kevin's Monte, breathing new life into the aging beast. The motor
retains all the stock equipment, but it's hard to tell with the dual snorkel air
breather assembly perched atop the mouse. 3" polished stainless exhaust
tips warn any followers of this car to beware of it's sleeping potential to
embarrass one at a moment's notice. Kevin also refinished and polished a
set of stock 87 SS wheels to upgrade the look of his SS without compromising the
stock look.
Interior-wise, the Monte has retained most of it's stock functionality, with
the exception of an aftermarket stereo to satisfy Kevin's thirst for musical
entertainment.
It's the subtle modifications Kevin has made to this awesome Monte that sets
it apart from it's brethren. At first glance, Kevin's SS looks just like
any other 85 Monte SS. However, the more time you spend admiring the
workmanship, the more obvious his attention to detail and subtle mods come to
the surface. Kevin has done an outstanding job of creating a Monte that
stands by itself and shines with his pride. Great job Kevin, and
